In Kindergarten A, we have started an inquiry into ’Diversity’. We read the book ‘Shades of People’ by Shelley Rotner and Sheila M. Kelly. We discussed that in our class skin colours had different and diverse shades. So far, we have made a collage of our hands to show our different skin shades. We are working on collages of our diverse hair and eye colour as well. We will go on to discuss further, other ways that we are the same or different from each other.
